When you qualify as a Level 3 Early Years professional you will play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
Entry Requirements
· GCSEs in English and maths at Grade 4/C or above or able to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 English and maths whilst on the programme
· To be able to gain a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
What will I study?
The Level 3 Early Years Educator includes:
Supporting and promoting children’s early education and development
Planning and providing effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
Making accurate and productive use of assessments
Developing effective and informed practices
Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
Working in partnership with a key person, colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals
Paediatric First Aid
